Foundry — Studio Site
01 / The Problem
A recognizable template can quietly undercut a design studio’s own pitch — if the site looks like everyone else’s, it doesn’t prove the team can do distinctive work.
02 / The Approach
Rebuilt the site from scratch in plain HTML/CSS/JS with a custom grid system and no page-builder bloat, prioritizing load speed and a layout that couldn’t be mistaken for a template.
03 / Process
01
Audited the original Squarespace site’s load time and mobile score as the baseline to beat
02
Wireframed the new grid before touching code
04 / The Result
A faster, distinct front end used as a case study for pitching similar small studios and agencies stuck on page builders.
