01 / The Problem

Shopify merchants can’t easily offer customers a native app experience — order tracking lives in email and a generic web page, not something that feels like part of the brand.

02 / The Approach

Designed a lightweight SwiftUI companion app that layers on top of an existing Shopify store via its API, focused on one job: real-time order status and push notifications, without trying to rebuild the whole storefront natively.

03 / Process

Mapped the exact Shopify API endpoints needed before designing any screens

Kept the UI to three screens by design, to prove the “lightweight extension” thesis

04 / The Result

A working concept demonstrating how a merchant already happy on Shopify can add a native touchpoint without migrating off the platform.
